"Company", "we", "our", or "us" refers to Git Scientist, a trading name of Old Reliable Tech Ltd.
"Organisation", "you", or "your" means the person or entity that has registered to use the Services.
"Services" means any product or service created and maintained by us.
"Platform" means the Git Scientist learning platform and all training courses within.
"Intellectual Property" means any and all patents, copyrights (including future copyrights), design rights, trade marks, service marks, domain names, trade secrets, know-how, database rights, and all other intellectual property rights, whether registered or unregistered, and including applications for any of the foregoing and all rights of a similar nature which may exist anywhere in the world.
Use of the services
When you use our services, now or in the future, you are agreeing to the latest Terms of Service. This includes any of our existing and future products and all features which we add to our Services over time. If we choose not to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms of Service, we are not waiving that right or provision.
Your use of the Services is at your sole risk. We provide these Services on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
You are responsible for keeping your account secure. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this.
You may not share your account details or allow another person to access the Platform using your account.
Payments and Refunds
If we charge you by invoice (if you're a business), payment will be due within 30 days of the date of any such invoice.
Any online payment transactions will be carried out by our third party payment processor over encrypted connections hosted within an iframe served from the payment processor's domain. Your card information never touches our server.
If you're not happy with the Services, you may contact us within 60 days for a full refund.
Modifications to the Service and Prices
Sometimes we change the pricing structure for our products. When we do that, we tend to exempt existing customers from those changes. However, we may choose to change the prices for existing customers. If we do so, we will give at least 30 days notice and will notify you via the email address on record.
Security and Privacy
We take many measures to protect and secure your data through backups, redundancies, and encryption. We enforce encryption for data transmission from the public Internet. There are some edge cases where we may send your data through our network unencrypted.
We use third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run the Services.
Copyright and Ownership
The content of this website and any training courses on the Platform belongs to us. This includes text, video, images, and any other Intellectual Property. You may not copy or distribute the contents of our website or training courses.
We may use your logo for the limited purpose of identifying you as a customer, past or present, of Git Scientist.
Limitation of Liability
You expressly understand and agree that the Company shall not be liable, in law or in equity, to you or to any third party for any direct, indirect, incidental, lost profits, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if the Company has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from: (i) the use or the inability to use the Services; (ii) the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any goods, data, information or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the Services; (iii) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (iv) statements or conduct of any third party on the service; (v) or any other matter relating to this Terms of Service or the Services, whether as a breach of contract, tort (including negligence whether active or passive), or any other theory of liability.
